Information On MyBB Forums

MyBB is another type of forum kinda like phpBB, punBB, and so on... MyBB does have a few default options that other forums types don't have. And these features are why I recommend you use MyBB

Advanced Warning System
in the ACP, you can set up different warning types and put warning points that lead to certain punishments. Like a spam warning could be for 10% (out of 100%)... Then you can set punishments for when people reach a certain amount. You can set punishments like suspend posting rights for 'x' amount of days, ban for 'x' amount of days (or permanent), and so on. So lets say the first punishment is set at 35% for disabling posting rights. as soon as the member gets to 35% or more (if its below the next punishment) on his/her warnings, they get their posting rights taken away automatically for however many days it was set. You can also choose how long a warning lasts or even if it lasts forever!

Reputation system
well, this one is easy to figure out... the one difference is, you must put why your adding negative or positive reputation and each member can only give reputation points one time per member so that way they aren't automatically making people the most popular member on purpose...

Topic Ratings
With this, members can rate other members' topics! give 0 stars to spam and 5 stars to great topics for example! nothin' you really see anywhere else huh?

havn't done much more testing but the above is already showing my how much better MyBB forums are!

not only these mybb is one of the fastest running scripts,unlimited number of forums and subforums, unlimited members

Let us not mention the plugin system and template system included, also the powerful management of users and groups and the ability to set subforums by default with many other powerful options such as passwords and links.

We know, i was just saying others are much better than MyBB.

I can't stand the others now that I get the MyBB features. plus the fact my friend is hosting it and he's letting my get all the access administrators should get (installing mods and such )
