Permanate IP banning

I have an internet stalker (every version of hatrediswritten...they have found.) and it's PISSING me OFF! I permanently ban their ban IP but they use a proxy. Would anyone know a way to stop them from coming back?

Find out what their original ip is and report them to their ISP. If you tell me their IP I can tell you all about them.

Gee thanks....That would be nice if they didn't have a different IP with all 7 accounts.

But give me the first account's ip.

You know that you can ban multiple IP`s at once, right?
Although I don`t know how on vBulletin. But I`m sure you can there too. It is made for these cases.

Which forum software are you on?

Doesn't matter what forum software he's on, it can be done through his webhost. It would be in IP Deny Manager of the cPanel.

banning an ip range would be a problem to innocent users with that range

he uses proxy. I banned at least 7 IPs and took the whole site down. I'm resolving this whole matter.

you shouldn't have taken it down. even without knowing the IP, im sure you can contact someone who CAN do something about it still

vB.org will come out with a mod to block proxy sometime soon but until then- it's down.
