Role Playing FOrum Ideas

I have a role playing forum.
I need ideas for what to entail for roleplay. The theme i will use is, Pirates. So i need specil abilities, maybe when someone reaches 400 posts, the can start move up a rank and get a lil ship, or start a crew or something other people can create their own crew with others and have little wars some how. When people start, they can create their own character, where he is from, brithday, what he likes, dislikes. what weapons. The ideas are endless. IDEAS?

Well the only way you'll get an idea without being laughed at is make your own, it's like making a character in the OOC, then fighting in the arena. No one can help you.

I made a "beta" forum (more like a test) called Treasure Island RPG. It never took off and for some reason, people thought it was One Piece...
It had all the ideas you listed anyhow. I'd like to see it in action.

Sounds a bit odd - how about Cutlass versus Sword, Treasure Island (you can take that name), Fool's Gold, Golden Teeth, Skyward Palm, X Marks the Spot, etc.

I'll consider those, do you know how i can add an attack button option that shows in in the avatar box where people post and on their profile. Im trying to create a way people can attack one another, depending on there level and taking health away from each other. Is there anyway i could set something up like that?

You can't use a profile field for things like that but you can use a handy feature - Character Sheets.

Set up the dice roll so people can roll for special things when it is their turn (such as the first person swipes with his cutlass and rolls 6 and the defender rolls 3 and gets scratched and takes 3 health damage)

Go to modules - character sheet
Set up a 'health' bar and 'experience bar' if you like.
Exp bar can be used to make people level up during special events and such.
Make the health modifiable by member.
Set up the dice roll stuff.
You're good to go.
