Some board software, includes a thank you button, depending the place any member can thank any post boosting reputation points of the user, some other places the thank button appears only for the thread started to choose the best answer they could find.

Anyway, do you like the thank button?

We use a reputation system that is pre-installed on IPB3 software. It's essentially a collapsed thank you button.
