Rate Your Package

Just messing a bit about the avatar, unlike other advertise places, in hotspot you must pay an extra amount of credits in order for them to add an avatar a banner or both. Though you did request it in your petition so i can see why it is upsetting. Anyway I just wanted to mention about the purchase of avatar/banner for the package in case you didn't know. XD

What Was Good: The timing was fast.
What Was Bad: Packager didn't put an avatar and a signature ( I expected at least an avarat form him, it should be granted from a packager). And the packages i'm providing, your posts seem spammy. And i'm never requesting here again, if the packager takes this kind of attitude when receiving a bad review... Yeah, if you didn't post spaces between your sentences, it wouldn't even be one line long. And you didn't say any constructive opinions about the site, just a compliment...

Some people prefer shorter comments. In all my time as a Packager here with Advertise Hotspot, I have never had a complaint that my posts were "spammy".

What Was Good: The speed
What Was Bad: Where to start, First he broke a rule and got negative karma for it, 7 posts are what I would call Spammy, Short and they did not add anything to the topic conversation, He welcomed other members which I find unprofessional as it is not their place to, Only regular members should do that. Before you say I should have stated it before hand, I would expect a packager to come on my site and act professional, You started an interrogation topic which if you had read the guidelines will be locked if you don't reply on a regular basis, Which it will as you are not an active member so that was a wasted topic.
A few posts had spelling errors in, which is a no no, your package came across as rushed hence the low quality and mistakes, some examples of your poor work:

- In the hello and goodbye thread you put - Im here for awhile (pointless and a waste of a post)
- Forum Hackers - I've had quite a bit of trouble with hackers over the past few weeks...

Two forums I've worked on have been attacked, and one forum I co-owned was completely destroyed - This is actually a wrong statement to make as you were not hacked your password was worked out and hence why the forums where abused, this is not hacking, If you are going to comment at least make sure you know what you are taking about.

If you want posts done in a certain way and posted in certain forums, you need to indicate that in your request.

I strongly disagree. As a packager you should try to add content and discussion to the forum, which includes on-topic posts with value to them. And that tends to be longer posts.

Just to inform you, about 8 or 9 of the comments I made on your forum where made several months ago as a regular member including the "Im here for awhile" comment. Those comments WERE NOT part of your Package.

Im sorry if you were disappointed in my service. The reason I welcomed a member (and I only welcomed one as I can recall) and the reason I made an interrogation topic was to make myself seem more like an active member (which many people like in a Package service). Im sorry if you thought it was not appropriate.

What Was Good: He did spread it in sections as well as days and did his best to follow my specifications. He didn't tagg until he knew he was able to complete it, that is always better than tagging and then seeing no signs from the packager. In short: I recommend his work and I would ask him again.

What Was Bad: That he is not a regular packager here yet. xD I asked for him because I read the load of good comments about his work. He did live them up. He did short replies in some post but it was just the same as we were threating the thread. Plus considering the extra posts, they probably weren't into the package. My package was in the middle of the storm, so I don't mind the wait. So overall I think he is doing it very nicely. I gave him a nine only because there is always room to improve.

What Was Good: The speed was quick as had been requested, and the overall quality of posts were good. Quite a few posts were made in "Forum Advertisement" (our main forum) which is always a plus in my opinion.
What Was Bad: A bit on the heavy side when it came to posts in General Discussions/Forum Games. Nearly half of the package (10/21) posts where done in these forums which was a bit unprofessional. Especially considering quite a few of the forum game posts were one word or less in length.

Other than that, he did thank someone in his intro thread for welcoming him which was a bit unnecessary, and he also mentioned in one of his posts that he was on the site completing a package which is a big no no when your completing one.

Overall though, a decent job, Soul Eater.

In your introduction thread, you mentioned you are completing a package. That should be avoided because an admin will request for a package to show others that his forum is active. If you mention you are doing a package, it will cause him problems. So please avoid them.
Also try to post things that will start good discussion. Suppose if you are replying to a review about Avira anti-virus, then post something like "Will the free version fits normal use or should i buy premium one?". A question like that will create good discussion in that community and thus the package can be a valuable one for him.

What Was Bad: I asked for the package to last 48 hours, it was finished in 10 minutes. Some of the posts added nothing to the topic, ie. in the "Who's into pokemon cards?" It was asking about peoples favourite cards, decks etc. Posting "don't really like them :/" is adding nothing to that topic.
And there was no capitalisation in the posts, but that's just me being a grammar freak. XD

Well, its a fact that packages are targeted to increase the activity of any forum. A forum's activity will only increase with some good topics. So it shouldn't be mentioned, but it should be known.

I'm not one to give perfect ratings very often.

and second, that's the only "bad" thing I can think about.

We should really put a rule that if you don't give 10/10, you have to state why.
