Yeap. But considering some other forums i'm on, AH isn't much of anything. But i'm really trying to draw in more posts.

Posts first, than activity. Last thing is members.

Content. Than staff.

How important of a role do you think the host plays? I know many people believe free hosts are no good, but I disagree with them

Free hosts aren't that good compared to the paid hosts. The hosts plays a very important role. Because AH is hosted on Forumotion, many good people than saw AH decided not to register.

I dont know why that would play a role in a person's decision on whether to join or not though...

When I look at a forum, I really give no thought to the host when deciding to join or not. I look at the content the site has to offer, then I look if they seem to have a good active staff, and then I make my decision.
