Advertise Hotspot in Winter

Well, just decided to make a theme for the banner in winter time.
Enjoy I guess

Why is no one commenting on this?
I need some tips cause I wanna see this in winter.

Since I suppose you got the original picture straight from this site, you should have kept the transparency of the background. Joel prefers those kind of banners. And I agree with him on that.
And I can`t keep saying that you wont get any of that desired transparency on a JPEG extension. I think I told you that before. Use PNG. If you need help about this thing just pm me about your questions. I would like to return the favor you are making for me.

What do you mean by it not being transparent? Because if he puts it up, the white part won't be seen. And I did save it as a PNG.

I think it will remain white. Cause I tried it before.

I`m sorry but I have to tell you that you did not. Just right click on the image here (your image) and click "View Image Info" or "Image properties" (It depends on what kind of browser you use and the version of it). There you can see that it is a JPEG picture. Then try the same on the current banner. You will see that is really a PNG format one.
What software do you use for graphics?

How do you make it transparent?

That is why I asked about the software you are using.
In Photoshop you can just select the white pixels via "color select" then delete them. Then you save it as a PNG, and when it asks, make it "noninterlaced".

i dont like the background;)

I think this is pointless. You made a new layer, and lightly brushed over top in blue, and set to color.

I may be wrong though

Not really;) He was playing around. I quite like it. But the background, no.
