Service Question.
Hey all.
So say there was two admins on one site and both of them were members here... Could both request a package for the forum? In other words, the wait limit, does that apply to users, sites, or both?
Thanks guys.

Re: Service Question.
Hmm, that is actually a very good question...
Im not 100% certain, but as a Packager myself, I say the wait limit should be per forum, not per member.
EDIT: Sorry, mistake with this post. My belief is that it SHOULD apply to both forums and members.

Re: Service Question.
Okay, so are you saying that a member can post two requests if they're for different sites?
Re: Service Question.
Huh, you know Im really not certain. :/
Perhaps it is for members and the forum they request the service for. Basically, the rule is just to help the packagers team not be overwhelmed by requests, and to help us from having to do multiple packages in a row for the same forum which can be difficult.
So yes, Im assuming it is both...

Re: Service Question.
It is a very good observation. I hope we get a definitive answer to avoid confusion with it.
I also think it applies both, as the rule idea is a well to give others the opportunity to request, if it was the same person, and the limit didn't apply for username, they could easily keep on requesting a different forum every three days, someone with two or different would keep packagers pretty busy beating the purpose Gasol exposed of not being overwhelmed with packages.
Maybe at least while a definitive answer is given it will be the best for us to assume that for now. xD

You can't have 2 requests open in the same time.
And the guidelines apply to everyone.

Re: Service Question.
No. I want official clarification from an Administrator. Can two members request a package for the same site at the same time?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Service Question.
I'm not saying request 2 packages. I mean one member requests one for Site A, then another member also comes along and requests on for Site A. Is that allowed, or not?
Re: Service Question.
If it's for the same site then no, every forum can have one request open.
