About Requesting Services at AH

Hello, members of Advertise Hotspot.

A while go, it has come to our attention that some members are posting a package request thread without reading the guidelines properly. They requested a package while their forum did not meet the minimum number of posts and members we have decided before hand. This happened before Joel stated the addition of a new package.

Thus, with that situation bear in mind, we would like to tell you all some kind of "punishment" system for members whose request thread got rejected in ANY kind of service because it violates the requesting guidelines set up for each type of request. This is how we will do it: we will deduct your point based on request you have made even though we rejected it. For example:

• I made a request of luxury package, but the number of members I have is below 15. Luxury package cost me 45 BPs, so my request will be rejected but I will still lose my 45 BPs.
  
• I made a request of table ads, forgetting that I can only request it after a week. My request will be rejected but 50 BPs will still be taken away from me.

Why do we have to implement such system? We think that reading guidelines is something very simple and basic you need to know when you want to ask something. It's a general sense, so we think that all of you are mature enough to read the rules before doing something. This is to prevent unnecessary debates over why a request thread got rejected and to avoid threads posted only to get BPs.

We believe you understand this new system. Should you have any question, feel free to ask us. This system is officially started as the free service week has ended.

Though it may sound very fair to the staff, I doubt if this will be a welcome measure for the members

This is a good thing, if a member can't follow a simple rule than, that it is his/hers fault.

Hope bout this:

The very first time someone breaks this rule, we don't punish him. Then every time he does it again, than he gets punished.

Because behaviour is right, it's not very welcoming

This is kinda ridicules. Working at a promotion forum, your going to expect such kinds of people. I wouldn't do this no matter what the cause is.

Well let me say this, I have been managing a forum and supervising over several promotion forums, and this is the first I've ever heard of such strict procedures.

I strongly suggest you guys/girls revise this a-bit.

I want you guys to remember that Advertise Hotspot used to be "free" promotion. Now we have so many rules in each section it's like everything has a rule to it. I am AH's 7th user and I've seen this place from beginning to now and some changes are nice, however such as this is not a good change.

We'll see how it goes. But until than, this rule stays as it is.
