Das Nachtstute(My game project)

This is a horror-based fighting game I am working on and I'm working on a demo release, so far.

The demo will feature four characters:

Chaos(Main antagonist):


Saohc:
Not providing a picture yet

3248:


Fourth Unknown character

and a preview of a couple of stages:


3248's Domain
This is a stage for one of the characters, 3248 and goes along with his story.



Dystopia:Hung Corpse
This is a universal stage and is not related to any characters and features as the title says, a fresh corpse that has been hung recently.

Now, not only will this be a horror game, but this is not the regular horror you normally see..

It's somewhat my own genre of horror.

And the game will feature mature content, ranging from blood and gore, strong language(Expect some uses of the word "fuck") and even the use of the controversial subject of abortion in one of the characters' stories.

The character's playstyles will vary(which is something unique), Chaos and 3248 will have six-button gameplay, while Saohc will have four-button gameplay and the fourth unknown character will have three-button gameplay.

The game will be mostly in German, along with some English.

Anyways, any opinions or suggestions?

Horror games are usually violent and mine will have blood and gore in it too..

Some violent stuffs. The graphics seems bad though.

Those are 2D sprites, 2D is different from 3D.

I know they aren't high resolution, but whatever.

I'm focusing more on the game's story,music and gameplay.

It really depends, the demo may be finished pretty soon, but the full version..

Between having to learn C++ to make a password system and updating, I dunno..

It will be ready soon, just got to finish up the fourth character,add intros and endings to the characters and do the fatal moves(which will also feature blood and gore).

My suggestion would be to drop the German and do it all in English.
Or if you really want to stick with German, do it all German and drop the English.
But if you are being realistic, more people speak English than German. You can just win with that.

I also like the "retro" style.

One question... Can you tell me how many lines is this in C++? Just being curious. That`s the next "language" I want to learn...

It's a mix of German and English.

Only a couple of moves and character names and titles and such will be in German.
The dialouge and such will be in english.

Why do you use German at all than? That wont fit in like that in my opinion....

Because it's my game, and I can have some German in it, if I wish.

If a german person were to try it, they prob couldn't understand it

Well I still think "Das Nachtstute" is a better game title than "The Nightmare"

Nah, I think that sounds too cliche-ish.

Das Nachststute is my choice, at least it's better than the crappy name of "LucasX3 vs LucasX3:The Nightmare Begins" or "LucasX3 vs LucasX3:Clash of Universes"

On another note, I've decided to give one of my characters a revamp.

I find that some people may not like Chaos' sprites, so I'm giving him a full revamp.
