New reputation system

Since this past few weeks, I've been hearing much news about the reputation being abused. As such, we have come down to a decision. To avoid the negative reputation abuse, we have now disabled all users from deducting member's reputation! You can click the "-" button, but the member's reputation wont be decreased. We sincerely apologise to all members if your reputation have been abused! But from this time forward, the reputation system wont be abused!

Thanks. Also, I think by editing the images, you may be able to hide the button for -rep aswell.... But idk. never tried it yet...

To be honest i think it'd be better to just disable the reputation system.

Also, i need someone to check my permissions as i don't have permissions to give any reputation... And someone please reset my reputation too as it has been abused by idiots.

evan, no need for namecalling. Your reputation will go up as others give you more positive reputation. I suggest helping others by making images or maybe even posting good comments.

sorry, reputations are not reset at the moment...
but i will check about the problem in your permissions right now

negative reputation stops them from giving reputation because of the fact usually people with -rep are rulesbreakers. Though EvanP's rep was just abused, probably by the same person who abused my reputation

anyways, hope you can somehow change it anyways

coz there is nothing like disabling a user from adding/subtracting reputation in the admin cp !!

evan, i looked for some GOOD comments you've said and +repped you so that you have the permissions to give reputation it was all my doings

no problem. kaws i know what rep being abused is like. so i didn't think you deserved to lose your permissions because of abuse.

i just looked into your permissions and saved it

looking and saving doesn't work it's actually knowing what the problem is and how to fix it like i did

Anyway, this was the only thing we could do in order NOT to abuse the reputation system.

anyways, joel, thanks for disabling negative rep. hope to think of more good ideas for ya soon. *goes to suggestion area and makes yet another topic*

I've +Repped you as i know your a good guy, so your Reputation is back to 0 now, and you should be able to give Reputation aswell.

This is a good move, however I am sure we will make adjustments to the reputation in the future. It is hard to please everybody, but we are defiantly trying.

It still is an ok feature. I just think many people here are misusing it because they don't know how to use it. Of course it is simple to click the + and - buttons but I mean what situations it is proper to give or take reputation and when it is not.
