My service suggestion ;)

well, I was thinking that there could be a special service in the widgets area where people can pay BP to get a youtube video advertisement up. it would be a 1 person only thing and would last 1 week. then that member has to wait 1 week before requesting another one. (there might be a waiting list by then!)

But, the youtube video MUST be advertising a website made by the member getting the service. Right under the video would be a link to that website's homepage aswell so people can actually get to the video.

in the service forum, there could be a sticky topic with good, free movie creators for members to use so that more members can request this! If needed, there could be "free trial" links and " free download" links. That way more movie makers could be added (I already know 2 that I could add).

Remember, with this being a video advertisement, it would HAVE TO be expensive.

So you're saying that members have to make Youtube videos to advertise their site? This has been suggested by you before. And we rejected it. I think it wont be a good service.

But it might be a good service. I mentioned giving links to movie maker downloads so that this is a little easier for people. Lets get opinions from other members first?

anyone who can make a black image with text can make a video. This service will be first come first serve not whoever has the best video. so it doesn't matter if the video looks good or not.... it'll still be up for a week then it'll be someone else's turn

well, usually a website might have members who CAN do that. Admins can ask their members to make one.

Staff who can do that as in like..a staff group who makes promotion videos for being paid BP?

I appreciate this idea. I think this is a nice idea to create a wider range of advertisement system.
however, people's capability of making a video advertisement is different. plus, adding video to the page can make the page load slower, this may affect the forum in a not-so-good way.

that being concluded, and after I think of it more, I can't really see in which points video advertising can really help us admins, so I have to say no. sorry. ^^"
