[Signature] Blending with C4Ds in a Signature
Blending with C4Ds in a Signature
Introduction Message
I made this tutorial because I see a lot of signatures that don't use C4Ds correctly. C4Ds are meant to be used to blend things into the rest of the signature, not to create an entire background.
Setting up for the C4Ds
Once you have your signature mostly together you need to add some blending so that your render doesn't stand out so much from the background.
Adding the C4D
Copy and paste a C4D into you signature and set the layer blending mode to screen.
Placing the C4D
Move the C4D around until it fits the flow of the signature and erase any parts that look bad.
Adding and Placing a Second C4D
This is basically a repeat of Step Two and Step Three, but paste the C4D again on a new layer and set the layer blending mode to screen. Move the C4D around until it looks like it will work well with the one already there. Now erase any parts that look bad.
Correcting Color Problems
Finally we just need to fix any color problems you may have run in to. Go to Image, Adjustments, Color Balance, and just play around with the settings until you get something you like.
Completion Message
Congratulations, you now know how to blend with C4Ds! Now get out there and stop giving C4Ds a bad name!
