Forum Description: ASH is a forum created on June 14th, 2010. at first, I was just curious about making my own forum. after thinking for some time about the topic of my forum, I decided to create a fan-forum because I just like Akiko Shikata. she is a Japanese singer and songwriter with unique musical arrangements; arrangements I've never heard before. first I created a forum, SnH, but based on advice of some people, I decided to move the site to a forum hosted by forumotion. that is ASH. ^^

on ASH, together with members of my staff team, we are providing our members with the latest information about Shikata's works right from her blog and official sites, as well as some download links to her songs and the lyrics.

well, yeah, I'm enjoying the activity there although the rate might still be small. we added some forum icons today, thanks to my staff team members. I'm looking forward to see other things to do to make the place cozier.

I have to admit, your website does look cool for it having a grey-like background. are you able to add HTML coding, I suggest getting a skysa toolbar http://skysa.com

problem is, my forum is a free-hosted forum so there is so little that we can do to make some variations to the site, including that toolbar. sorry, but thanks for the suggestion. I might use it if it's possible, you know. >___<

well forumotion websites are free hosted and they allow full HTML pages... so i don't see why your forum wouldn't allow minor HTML codes.....

also, since your website is really new and doesn't have much members yet, you COULD actually switch to forumotion if you like so that you can add more features than your free host allowes

hmm, I see. one of my staff member was actually advising the same thing about changing host to forumotion. but I was wondering, is it possible to move all the threads and members there to the new forum so I won't lose anything?

I finally moved my site to be hosted by forumotion. I mean making a new site, yeah. so we lost some members, but I'm glad that most of them still returned. we're still a small community, yeah. hopefully this time we'll grow big for sure. so visit us now!

I'm currently working on new features: n award system and a shopping plaza! this is a job that takes a lot of time because I need to upload the gifts one by one. that being said, right now I only have one shop open for test to see if members respond well to it. if they are, then I’ll add more shops to it. I’ve prepared around four more shops, but it all depends on the members themselves. so take a visit there, join the site, try the new feature, and give me the feedback!

It was refreshing to log in after about two weeks absence to see a lot of aesthetic changes made to the forum, such as the the replacement of the menu with a fancy menu graphic. It is always encouraging to see the evidence of tinkering by the administrator before even viewing topics.

In any case, I want to encourage you by saying that, no matter the lulls, you can be sure I'll be checking in every now and then. All you need do in return is not give up.
